Monday Night Football DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 15 Vikings-Bears Showdown tournaments
The Bears host the Vikings in Week 15’s installment of Monday Night Football. Minnesota is still scratching and clawing for a playoff berth and will need a win to keep those hopes alive. A Vikings win is what Las Vegas shops are expecting. DraftKings Sportsbook has installed the Vikings as 6.5-point favorites and set the total at 45.0 points. Because Vegas expects the Bears to be playing catch-up, we’re loading up on their boom-or-bust receivers in our DraftKings Showdown lineups while also grabbing one of the safest DFS plays in the league.
Here are the key scoring settings for DraftKings Showdown contests: They’re full-point PPR and there are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player’s original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Vikings vs. Bears
$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.
Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary) RB Dalvin Cook, Vikings ($17,700)
Cook is fresh off his best performances of the season, a 38.2 DK-point eruption against the Steelers. To add a cherry on top of things, he had an extra three days of rest. Naming Cook our “Captain” doesn’t require deep analysis in this case.
FLEX RB David Montgomery, Bears ($9,000)
Montgomery continues to handle significant volume and has been busy on the ground and through the air. He’s the most likely Bear to go off for a big score — he has DK performances of 21.8, 25.6, and 28.1 points this season — and we’re going to bet on him serving as Chicago’s offensive centerpiece on Monday night.

FLEX WR Darnell Mooney, Bears ($7,400)
Mooney has struggled of late, but he’s just two weeks removed from a three-game stretch in which he eclipsed 20-plus DK points. The Bears’ new No. 1 receiver is likely to see the targets necessary to make some splash plays and deliver another solid performance.
FLEX WR K.J. Osborn, Vikings ($5,800)
Osborn has filled in admirably for Adam Thielen (ankle), scoring double-digit DK points in back-to-back contests. He’s received 16 targets over those two games, and he’s likely in store for another large slice of the pie in this favorable matchup.
FLEX WR Jakeem Grant, Bears ($5,000)
Grant surprised us with a special teams touchdown last week, demonstrating the his big-play upside and versatility all at once. We’re not expecting that lightning to strike twice, but we still like that he can score points in a variety of ways.
FLEX WR Damiere Byrd, Bears ($4,600)
Byrd made the most of his two targets last week, catching both and taking one for a 58-yard touchdown. With Allen Robinson (COVID) and Marquise Goodwin (foot) in serious doubt for the contest, Byrd could see another five-to-seven targets and have the opportunity to make a big play or two.
