Carrera singer Deep Money: We need to step away from formula music and make new melodies
Singer Deep Money latest song, Carrera ha already crossed 2 million views on Youtube, and he says we need to give new stuff to our listeners.
Novelty is what should be the driving force of the music industry, feels singer Deep Money. And the Dope Shope singer adds that he has always tried to keep that his focus always.
“We need to give new stuff to our listeners. Wahi purani cheese they keep on doing. It is okay if you do it some it two times but you can’t keep on making the same music all the time even if it has worked for you once. We need to step away from formula music and make new melodies,” he shares.
Talking about his journey in the music industry, he shares, “I believe that I need to give something new every time. I am a versatile singer and I keep on working on the novelty factor for my fans.”
Lauding the indie music scene, Deep Money says that it is helping injecting new and raw talent in the music industry, which is a very healthy and positive sign.
“Indie space has a great future. Talented, young people are getting the opportunity to showcase their talent by just putting out their music online. A song from Sri Lanka becomes viral (Manike Mage Hithe)or a kid from Chhattisgarh (Bachpan Ka Pyar). That also means that the competition is very stiff. No one knows what song will go viral next,” he explains, while adding that the indie space has bridged the gap between the big and small artistes.
On the work front, Deep Money has been keeping busy and his latest track Carrera which comes from the banner of Fab Music Beats, the music label from the house of HT Media Ltd, has been receiving love from audiences. The track has already crossed two million views on Youtube channel of Fab Music Beats.
“I am getting such an amazing support from everyone and I am fortunate to collaborate with them. This is a lifetime opportunity for me. I would like to thanks a few people who have made it possible- first of all Avi J, who drove this whole thing. Also people often forget the lyricists and music producers but I always have maintained that they are the pillars on which a hit song is made. NS Chauhan wrote the lyrics for my song and Sabby Airy produced Carrera. I also want to thank Deepti Sadhwani who features in the video, besides Ramesh Menon, Neeraj Saraswat and Gaurav Sharma ,” he ends.
