Is a new promo of ‘Sooryavanshi’ featuring Rohit Shetty speaking on camera, on the way? Exclusive! – Times of India

Rohit Shetty is going all out for his upcoming film ‘Sooryavanshi’ which is expected to bring the crowd back into the theatres after the long lull since March 2020, no thanks to COVID. And why not? Rohit is in a very happy space, he was the one who was most insistent in his film’s team that the movie in question shall first release in theatres and not on OTT. The ‘Simmba’ maker is confident that ‘Sooryavanshi’ will change the prevalent dull ambience in the multiplexes because he knows he has a product that is entertainment to the hilt.

Deep diving further into his pursuits to make ‘Sooryavanshi’ into a big success, Rohit was yesterday spotted at PVR Juhu (the leading chain of multiplexes is the distributor of ‘Sooryavanshi’) shooting a few promos with himself in the camera. What he was exactly saying in the videos that were shot with high professional gadgets is not known but it is not rocket science to understand that it must be related to the big release of ‘Sooryavanshi’, which is slated for Diwali.

According to the Maharashtra government directive, the theatres are scheduled to throw their gates open from October 22.

We did not get any additional information from team ‘Sooryavanshi’ when we probed, but this Rohit promo/video should prove to be a big spoke in the wheels that are being planned to roll the theatres ahead in a similar fashion as before; many multiplex owners have been constantly saying that their business will see a significant change only when the Akshay Kumar led ‘Sooryavanshi’ made by Rohit Shetty sees the light of day.

‘Sooryavanshi’ stars Akshay Kumar in the lead and Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in important roles, while Katrina Kaif plays the female lead. The film is produced by Akshay, Rohit and Reliance Entertainment.
