Neena Gupta recalls her first ever kissing scene with Dilip Dhawan in TV show Dillagi: I rinsed my mouth with Dettol | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
She revealed that she was not at all comfortable to perform the lip lock with her co-star Dilip Dhawan for a TV show called Dillagi. She said that he wasn’t like a friend but they were acquaintances. Though he was good looking but Neena said that these things don’t matter in such situations.
She recalled that physically and mentally she wasn’t ready for it. She was very tensed but she convinced myself to go through with it. As soon as it ended, she rinsed her mouth with Dettol. “It was so difficult for me to kiss somebody who I don’t know,” Neena said, adding that after performing the kissing scene, she couldn’t sleep all night.Unfortunately the scene was removed by the makers after the show caused an uproar among the audience since the act was not very normal on television or films back then. The show also featured Irrfan Khan. She also recalled shooting for an intimate scene in the film Utsav and said that it was very difficult.
Recently, Neena had revealed that her mother never told her about what is sex and what are periods. Talking about her role in Lust Stories, she said that it was important for a dadi maa to say these things to have an impact on the audience.
