Kylian Mbappe’s agent-mother told to stay away from Achraf Hakimi amid claims she tried to poach him
Fayza Lamari, Kylian Mbappe’s mother, has been accused of having a ‘lack of respect’ amid rumours that she had tried to poach her son’s PSG team-mate Achraf Hakimi as a second client.
It comes as Lamari has been working to negotiate her son’s exit from the Parisian club with the World Cup winning superstar having yesterday named his terms to stay at the club, notably playing hard ball with his employers.
It seems likely he will see out the reminder of his contract and will pick up a guaranteed £130million, before moving to Real Madrid. His mother has been central to those talks and it’s no secret that she has been looking to add another name to her list of clientele, with his PSG team-mate and close friend Hakimi being linked as a potential target.
The 48-year-old, who also has her sights on Lyon’s Rayan Cherki according to Marca, has been furiously told to stay away from Hakimi by his agent, Alejandro Camano.
Camano, a representative of football agency Footfeel, said he was surprised by the rumours linking his client to another agent, and dispelled the claims saying there ‘is no chance of Hakimi leaving’.

Achraf Hakimi (pictured) is being linked with a move away from PSG, but his agents dispelled any suggestions that he could be set to swap agencies
‘We are surprised that the one and only fact of being the mother of an important player allows her to interfere in the market,’ he told AS.
‘Achraf is part of the Footfeel family, he has been convinced of the project for many years and he has a friendly relationship with Kylian that we respect.
‘The fact that Mbappe’s people are leaking that Achraf can be part of his agency is unusual due to their lack of experience in the market.
‘Being a player’s mother is not enough, it seems to me to be a lack of respect for the profession, there are great agents who deal in a very tough and very difficult market…. We think that’s wrong, that there is no chance [of Hakimi joining].’
It comes as Hakimi could be set to depart the Parc des Princes this summer, with with Manchester City reportedly set to make a move to acquire the Moroccan international who caught the eyes of many at the 2022 World Cup.
Pep Guardiola’s side could be set to lose Kyle Walker, who is in advanced talks to join Bayern Munich this summer, and Hakimi could be the perfect target to replace them, with the 24-year-old proving to be pivotal for PSG this season, starting in 23 of the 28 league appearances he’s made while scoring four goals.
Even his agent, Camano, had admitted that he could leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.
But speaking on Mbappe’s mother, he said that while he wished her the best, he asked for respect.

‘Fayza Lamari has a company that has nothing but Kylian Mbappe, which is very important, but it is based on a relationship between a mother and her son,’ Camano added.
‘I have nothing to say to Fayza Lamari. I can greet her, show her my respect and congratulate her on the son she has. But nothing more.
‘I wish her a long road in the world agents, I hope she can have the best players, but I ask for respect for the profession, for those of us who have been in this profession for years, I wish her the best, but in the case of Achraf, it will not be possible.’
Lamari has been a strong voice in Mbappe’s corner for some time, rising to the defence of her son amid the ongoing behind-the-scenes problems that have over-shadowed his recent years at PSG.
Back in 2018 she also notably slammed Neymar and Dani Alves for their treatment of her son after they made fun of his appearance after they said he looked like ‘Donatello’ from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The pair could now both be set to leave PSG in the next 12 months, with Mbappe being linked with a move to Real Madrid while Hakimi could join Manchester City
But she has also received criticism from other players in the past, with Zlatan Ibrahimovich, who was seen with Mbappe at the men’s singles French Open final earlier this month, telling Mbappe’s parents to ‘shut-up.’
‘From one thing they become another. And that’s the problem. That’s when you lose your self-discipline and who you are,’ he told Canal Plus, per GOAL.
‘Today with this new generation, the parents, dad, mum who you want, they think they have become stars.
‘They talk in the newspapers. But who do you think you are? Shut up. It is up to your son, the player, to work and have discipline.’
