Devialet Mania portable speaker with 360-degree sound system, dual subwoofer launched at Rs 1,02,000 – Times of India

Devialet has expanded its portable speaker lineup in India with the launch of a new speaker called Mania. This is a Seasonal Colours Exclusive Edition based on the colour of sound also known as Noise spectrum. Feature-wise, the speaker comes with a 360-degree sound design and claims to deliver a complete 360-degree listening experience. The company says that the Sunset Rose colour of the speaker is inspired by the energy transition felt at the end of the day as the sky changes colours, while Sandstorm is an ode to the untamed beauty of mineral landscapes.
Devialet Mania: Price and availability
Devialet Mania Seasonal Colours Exclusive Editions in Sunset Rose and Sandstorm are priced at Rs 1,02,000. Buyers can also buy the Devialet Mania cocoon at Rs 14,000. The speaker is available for purchase via the company’s authorised stores including the newly opened store; Devialet, by The Den, Mumbai.
Devialet Mania: Features
Devialet Mania comes with the company’s proprietary 360-degree sound technology for an immersive listening experience. It comes with ASC (Active Stereo Calibration) that uses four microphones and embedded intelligence capabilities to allow Devialet Mania to automatically adapt the audio rendering to suit its surroundings.
With the added burst of colour, the exclusive editions feature the industry-leading proprietary technologies embedded in Devialet Mania, delivering the same expansive 360° sound, for a state-of-the-art listening experience in a compact, portable form.
The speaker comes with four full-range drivers with two SAM-powered subwoofers (Speaker Active Matching) in a push-push configuration. The company claims that the speaker delivers powerful stereo sound at frequencies as low as 30 Hz and as high as 20,000 Hz.
In addition to this, Devialet has also announced Mania Cocoon, a custom-design sleeve that seamlessly moulds to fit the portable smart speaker ensuring complete protection when on the move. Users also have the option to customise it as per their choice from the available options.
