Robert Lewandowski has not had his head turned by the riches in Saudi Arabia as the Barcelona star claims he has ‘other priorities’ ahead of money.
Clubs in the Kingdom are determined to make sizeable splashes in the transfer market this summer, with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema already making the move, and interest in N’Golo Kante, Roberto Firmino and others.
Asked if he could be tempted away by the Saudi millions, Lewandowski was quick to shoot the idea down.
‘There is no issue. So I don’t think about it, because why should I think about it if there is no issue?’ he told Polish outlet Sport Interia.
‘Especially because my contract [with Barca] still runs for a while. I see what is happening [in Saudi Arabia] but it doesn’t worry me, because I have other priorities at the moment.’

Lewandowski is unquestionably one of the greatest strikers of his generation and fits the bill for the top level talent clubs in Saudi Arabia are seeking.
He is 34, which fits the age profile, but Lewandowski has three years remaining on his deal at Barcelona and he is in no rush to cash that in.
There is a significant amount of focus on Saudi Arabian football at present, with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
Moves were made to try and land Lionel Messi, but the Argentina icon eventually chose to take his talents to Major League Socce with Inter Miami.
Man City’s Riyad Mahrez, Real Madrid’s Luka Modric and Kalidou Koulibaly are all other reported targets, while multiple managers are being pursued, too.
