Tara Sutaria on her next, Apurva! Says audience wouldn’t expect me to do a film like this | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

In our last interaction, Tara Sutaria mentioned that perception matters a lot in the industry. While she uses social media to depict the many sides of her personality, Tara also wants to portray the same by doing versatile roles in movies. And her next she says helps her to showcase a different side altogether.
Often seen in multi-starrers (Marjaavaan, Ek Villain Returns) and films led by her male counterparts (Heropanti 2, Tadap) she will now be seen in Apurva, playing the titular role, in her first female centric film.
She says, “Apurva is something, which is completely unexpected! It is not the kind of film which filmmakers or the audience would expect me to do. The story is about this fearless girl. It is very different to anything that I have done or anybody else has done in recent times. When the story was being narrated to me, I was very sure that a lot of girls would resonate and root for Apurva, the character and what she stands for in the film. There are those lighter moments in the film too, but it is a hard hitting and an intense film.”

She signs off saying, “It is a very important film and truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am glad that I got to do it so early on in my career. I knew instantly that it would be a very gruelling, yet rewarding schedule, which I shot for two months in Rajasthan.”
