REVEALED: Zurich is Karan Johar’s Birthday Destination | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Just a few minutes ago, ETimes told you that Karan Johar will be celebrating his birthday in Europe in an intimate get-together with close friends. Now we’ve found out Karan’s well-guarded secret that he is heading to Zurich in Switzerland.
Well, who’s going with him? We are not sure about the list, but what we have heard is that Karan has booked quite a few tickets for his friends to go with him to fly out to Zurich to enjoy his upcoming 52nd birthday.
KJo’s birthday is on May 25. Now when exactly the KJo group will leave Mumbai we do not know because the recent post by Dharma Productions on their social media handles has made it a bit confusing to add well to what we have heard. Anyway, we are bringing it to you herewith.

We also don’t know who decided on Zurich but it seems KJo has been wanting to chill out there since some time. He has not disclosed to many, but we know he has booked tickets. It is a sort of an impulsive decision to fly out to Zurich. Till last week, there were no concrete plans but the trip is planned and it’s happening as we speak.
Once he’s back home, Karan will deep dive into the promotions of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ which he has directed. ‘RARKPK’ stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in main roles.
Coming to the post that Dharma Productions put out: It read, “The chair is about to be filled 7 years later. A grand celebration awaits. Stay tuned, we’ll see you tomorrow! (sic)”, along with a caption which was hashtagged as ‘#25on25’. The picture that was posted had an empty chair with ‘director’ written on it. The photo also had ‘Karan Johar, another era begins, stay tuned’ mentioned on it. Bet we shall know tomorrow what the post is all about. But our source maintains, “Zurich trip is on.”
