Priyanka Chopra confirms return to Met Gala 2023; to join Alia Bhatt on red carpet – Times of India

We have one more Bollywood star to watch out for at the Met Gala. Just a week before the fashion’s biggest night, Priyanka Chopra on Tuesday confirmed that she will be among the many celebrity guests attending the gala.
The actress, who has been making several appearances to promote her new show Citadel, revealed at a red-carpet event that she will be attending the do this year. Entertainment reporter Marc Malkin wrote in a tweet, “Confirmed! @priyankachopra just told me she will be at the #MetGala on Monday.”

He further added that the actress’ look for the big night ‘will be on theme’ because she loves a theme. Celebs will hit the red carpet this year keeping up with the theme – a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld.

Priyanka also revealed that her look will, “have a ‘special element’.”

With Priyanka joining the lineup of stars, fans are also awaiting her appearance with her husband Nick Jonas. The star couple will walk up the iconic stairs of the Metropolitan Museum in New York on May 1, 2023 (May 2, 3:30 am IST), alongside the biggest celebrities in the world.
Anna Wintour is the annual host of the Met Gala.

This year, stars including Dua Lipa, Penelope Cruz, and Roger Federer are among this year’s co-chairs and will likely be first up on the red carpet.

Other stars including Derek Blasberg, Chloe Fineman, Emma Chamberlain and Elle Fanning have also confirmed their appearance.

Another Indian star who will walk the red carpet is Alia Bhatt. The actress will make her Met Gala debut this year, just in time for her Hollywood debut film ‘Heart Of Stone’. According to reports, Alia will be styled in Prabal Gurung couture for the big appearance.
