Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Singham Again’ set to release on Independence day 2024: Report – Times of India

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are a dream team together as the actor-director duo have given several hits ever since their first outing ‘Zameen’ in 2003. After the success of ‘Singham’ and ‘Singham Returns’, the duo had announced the third installment a while ago. Titled, ‘Singham Again’, the film is set to go on floors from August this year.
Now, as per a report, the makers have locked a release date for the movie. It was initially supposed to release in Diwali 2024, but now it’s been moved ahead to Independence day 2024 which is a Thursday. So, the film will get a good longer weekend at the box-office. Moreoever, Monday is Raksha Bandhan, hence, it will get that added advantage and holiday period.

During the song launch of ‘Current Laga’ from ‘Cirkus’, Rohit Shetty had announced that Deepika Padukone has been roped in for ‘Singham Again’. He proudly announced that she’s the first female cop in his cop universe and he even called her ‘Lady Singham’. Ever since then, fans are excited for it.
As the new year 2023 began, Ajay had dropped a picture with Rohit Shetty and he wrote, “Made a good start to the New Year with @itsrohitshetty ‘s narration of Singham Again. The script I heard is ???? God willing this will be our 11th blockbuster????”

Rohit Shetty’s previous release was ‘Cirkus’ and at the moment, he’s working on ‘Indian Police Force’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty which will release on OTT. Meanwhile, Deepika will also have another big film releasing in 2024 with ‘Fighter’.
