Long queues for food and drink haven’t dampened anyone’s spirits so far, but the eye-watering cost of some items just might.
If you are looking for a bite to eat, a chicken sandwich will set you back $19. A cheeseburger is around the same price at $17.
A hotdog will cost you $14, while some fries will set you back $9.

A cheeseburger and fries combo together will have you forking out $23, though the hot dog and fries combo is a little cheaper at $20, while the chicken and chips combo costs $21.50.
If you prefer a meatball sub it’ll set you back $19.50, while pizzas are going for $17.
If it’s a drink you’re after, Heineken cost $11 and soft drinks are $6 – which is in line with prices in Melbourne at footy ground.
You will also need deep pockets if you feel like picking up some merchandise at the prestige event.
McLaren gear is popular this year, with young Aussie Oscar Piastri competing in his home race, but if you’d like to support him a McLaren raincoat will cost you $350, while a puffer will set you back $300.

A Piastri baseball cap is priced at a ludicrous $90 – while a McLaren sweater is $250.
Ferrari fans will be disappointed to find out that their merch is similarly priced.
A Ferrari raincoat is priced at $350, while a hoodie costs $180. And you can purchase a Ferrari model car $220.
The incredible pricing of merch is unlikely to put too many fans off with massive growth in F1 sales over the last few years and a booming popularity of the sport.
