Now the actress revealed during the promotion of her upcoming movie ‘Shaakuntalam’ that her family and close ones were opposed to the idea of her being part of the song ‘Oo Antava’ from the Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
During the promotional function of ‘Shaakuntalam’, Samantha said that the song ‘Oo Antava’ was offered to her in the middle of her separation and also her family asked her to sit at home.

Samantha reportedly said that when she was offered the song ‘Oo Antava’she was in the middle of the announcement of her separation and every close one including her friends, well-wishers, and family opposed the idea of her being part of it.
Samantha also said that even her friends who encouraged her to do the role in ‘Super Deluxe’, told her not to do an item number. Further, Samantha said that she agreed to take up the song as she thought why should she hide if she has not done anything wrong.

Samantha reportedly told that she was not planning to go into hiding and wait for the trolls and abuses to go away and slowly creep back like someone who did a crime. She also said that she gave her marriage 100 percent and just because it did not work out well, she was not planning to feel guilty or beat herself up.

On the other hand, Samantha’s most anticipated film ‘Shaakuntalam’ is all set to hit the big screens on April 14.
