Priyanka Chopra gets support from cousin Meera Chopra over her ‘leaving Bollywood’ comment – Times of India

Priyanka Chopra recently opened up about leaving Bollywood and moving to Hollywood. She said that she was pushed to the corner and was tired of dirty politics in the Hindi film industry. While Kangana Ranaut supported Priyanka’s statements on social media, cousin Meera Chopra also lent her support to PeeCee.
“No matter how big or successfull an outsider becomes, but in the end they willl still be an outsider. Cutting them, smothering them will never stop, if u dont follow the rule book. But what @priyankachopra achieved is a tight slap on their faces!!” Meera wrote in her tweet.

Meera’s tweet in support of Priyanka has come at a time when the two sisters had a history of alleged conflict with each other. However, Meera had clarified that there was no tiff between them but they are not best friends either, despite their families being very close.

Priyanka made her way into Hollywood with her 2015 television series Quantico, which was a stellar hit. Later, she went on to appear in her two music videos In My City and Exotic. She made her feature film debut with Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson, followed by Isn’t It Romantic, The Matrix Resurrections and The White Tiger.

On the work front, Priyanka is gearing up for the release of Love Again and web series Citadel. She also has Jee Le Zaraa in her kitty. It will also star Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in the lead.
