Twitter Debate Over Rooh Afza Goes Viral: Love it or Hate it?
Summer is fast approaching, and with it comes the need for gallons of refreshing coolers, sherbet, and other hydrating drinks. As you begin stocking your refrigerators with sherbet mixers, water, and other ingredients, there is one summer-special ingredient that almost every Indian swears by, Rooh Afza. This classic rose-flavoured, pink-coloured syrup is a popular ingredient in most desi kitchens, with its sweet taste used to prepare sherbet, ice popsicles, kulfi, and other rose-flavoured drinks and desserts. Rooh Afza is reminiscent of childhood and holds a special place in many Indian households. However, recently, Rooh Afza made headlines after a Twitter user expressed her aversion towards the drink.
