Airtel: Airtel users have to pay more for the base prepaid plan in these regions – Times of India
The price hike
As a part of the price hike, Airtel has discontinued its most affordable prepaid plan that used to cost Rs 99. After this, the most affordable plan costs Rs 155. Which means, Airtel users will have to pay more in order to survive on the entry-level plan.
Airtel Rs 155 prepaid plan: Benefits
Airtel Rs 155 comes with 24 days of validity. In terms of benefits, it offers unlimited calling, 1GB data and 300 SMS. In addition, it also comes with additional benefits like complimentary Wynk subscription, free Hellotunes and more.
Post the 1GB data consumption, users will have to pay an additional at the rate of 50 paise for extra MB spent. Also, Airtel will charge Rs 1 for local SMS and Rs 1.50 for STD SMS post the 300 SMS quota.
Other affordable Airtel prepaid plans
While Rs 155 is the most affordable Airtel prepaid plan, but there are other options available from the telecom service provider that offer more benefits and better validity.
Rs 179 prepaid plan
This plan comes with unlimited calling and 2GB of total data. It also offers 28 days of validity.
Rs. 219 Plan: This plan comes with a validity of 28 days and offers unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, 1GB data per day, and 100 SMS per day.
Rs. 249 Plan: This plan comes with a validity of 28 days and offers unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, 1.5GB data per day, and 100 SMS per day.
Rs. 199 Plan: This plan comes with a validity of 24 days and offers unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, 1GB data per day, and 100 SMS per day.
Rs. 179 Plan: This plan comes with a validity of 28 days and offers unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, 2GB data for the entire validity period, and 300 SMS for the validity period.
Rs. 149 Plan: This plan comes with a validity of 28 days and offers unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, 2GB data for the entire validity period, and 300 SMS for the validity period.
