When is the Champions League quarter-final draw? Date, how to watch, teams involved
Chelsea toppled Borussia Dortmund to reach the Champions League quarter-finals, while Tottenham, Man City and Liverpool are still battling for a place… but when will the draw for the last-eight take place? And when will the matches be played?
The Champions League round of 16 got back underway on Tuesday evening, as Chelsea overturned a 1-0 deficit to beat Borussia Dortmund and progress to the quarter-finals.
Three English teams are still in the hunt to join Chelsea, with Man City best positioned having drawn 1-1 with RB Leipzig in Germany two weeks ago. Tottenham suffered a 1-0 defeat to AC Milan in Italy, but will look to follow Chelsea by making home advantage count in the return fixture.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will need a miracle to progress to the last-eight, having fallen to a 5-2 defeat against reigning champions Real Madrid at Anfield. Their 7-0 demolition of bitter rivals Manchester United will give Jurgen Klopp hope, however.
The quarter-final stage is where the Champions League really becomes interesting, with seedings no longer a factor and clubs from the same country able to face each other.
But when does the draw take place? And when will the quarter-final ties be played? Sportsmail provides the answers below.
