Shahid Kapoor opens up on being called cute, reveals he ‘hates’ the word, finds it ‘vanilla’ – Times of India
The actor, who started his career as a model, appearing in the music video Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra by the band Aryans has often been referred to as chocolate boy and cute, a word that the actor recently admitted he hates. In an interaction with Pinkvilla, the 42-year-old said, “I always hate it when people called me cute. I hate that word, Vanilla. You know, I used to hate it when people say ‘Oh you are cute’. I hate it. I was like ‘Why would you say that to anybody.’ I never liked that word. I have learned to be graceful and accept it now, that people throw it at me. But I just felt that it is very limiting.”
Recently, the father of two celebrated his birthday and his wife Mira Rajput shared a late post for him on her IG handle, where the actor is seen dancing his heart out to the song Jee Karda from the movie Singh Is Kinng. Wearing a white hoodie set, the actor is dressed in a casual avatar as he shakes a leg, whilst wife Mira seems to be recording the video. Sharing the same, Mira wrote, “Always keep dancing through life and keep smiling #simplythebest. May this year be the one jab tum vahi karo jo jee karda. #birthdayboy #birthdaybumps.”
