Ananya Panday wraps Vikramaditya Motwane’s untitled thriller; says ‘Hope I continue to make you happy and proud’ – Times of India
“And that’s a wrap! @motwayne I can never thank you enough but I hope I made you and continue to make you happy and proud and to every single member of this team who has given everything they have to this magical film – I love you guys and I can’t wait for the world to see it,” the actor wrote on Instagram.
Reacting to the post, the proud director shared the photo and wrote, “Barely knew you 3 months ago. Today I’m proud to call myself a fan and you a friend.”
Motwane, known for critical hits such as ‘Udaan’, ‘Lootera’, ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ and ‘AK vs. AK’, said his new movie has a modern-day appeal and is very relevant for the current times. “The film is a ‘screenlifer’, and will be completely told via the screens we consume – computers, phones and televisions. It’s something that neither me nor Ananya has ever attempted before and I’m super excited to collaborate with her on this journey,” the filmmaker said in a statement.
The thriller is currently in post-production. Makers will soon announce the release date and title of the film.
Panday was last seen in the Telugu-Hindi bilingual ‘Liger’, also starring Vijay Deverakonda. Her future film line-up also includes ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ and Raaj Shaandilyaa- directed ‘Dream Girl 2’.
