Akshay Kumar, Nora Fatehi’s The Entertainers US tour show in New Jersey cancelled as promoter defaults on payments – Times of India

Initially, the show was supposed to be performed in Atlanta, Texas, Florida, Oakland and New Jersey, but it has now been confirmed that the New Jersey show stands cancelled as the promoter has defaulted on payments. A source, giving more info on the matter added, “The Entertainers Tour’s New Jersey show was unfortunately called off because the local promoter Amit Jaitley of Sai USA INC failed to pay the national promoter. Despite the presence of a large Indian population in the city who were excited about the show, it is canceled because of non-payment. However, Akshay Kumar along with Mouni Roy, Sonam Bajwa and Disha Patani will be flying out for the tour tonight.” (February 27). Nora Fatehi has apparently already landed on US shores yesterday, February 26.

The show, which will see Akshay dance to his hit numbers, accompanied by all these leading ladies is expected to be performed as per schedule in all the other four cities, without any further hindrance.

Earlier, on a leading chat show, Akshay had joked why he is nervous about the show. He said, “Mujhe bohot tension hai. Chaar heroine mere saath jaa rahi hai, woh bhi foreign tour pe. Toh mujhe dukhi lagna hai. Agar aap khush ghar aaye toh wapas doosre tour pe jaane nai milega” (I have to look sad that four beautiful ladies are going with me, if I look happy, I won’t be allowed to go for the next show).

On the workfront, Akshay’s latest release Selfiee, co-starring Emraan Hashmi has opened to a lukewarm response at the BO.
