Barcelona have been dealt a huge double blow before the crucial Europa League play-off second-leg against Manchester United.
Both sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the first-leg but Barcelona are set to travel to Old Trafford missing two integral pieces.
Late in the first-half, Barcelona’s midfield maestro Pedri had to be taken off through injury and is now a doubt for the return leg at Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old was hugely missed following his withdrawal as the home side lacked control in midfield throughout the rest of the game.
To make matters worse for Xavi, the 43-year-old head coach will also be missing talented teenager Gavi through suspension.

Gavi was lively throughout the first-leg and has been a key player for Xavi since his introduction to the Barcelona side.
The 18-year-old has the freedom to roam the pitch in this Barcelona team and, along with Pedri, will be hugely missed in the second-leg.
If Pedri is injured for the game at Old Trafford, Xavi will have to rejig his side with a minimum of two changes for the tough away leg.
Barcelona host Cadiz in their next LaLiga game and fans will be waiting to hear if Pedri is able to make the squad.
