Suspects race car through Canadian mall, steal electronics from store

Canadian Police released footage showing a car racing through a mall in Vaughan, near Toronto. Two suspects, who were driving the vehicle, have been accused of theft from an electronics store in the mall. The incident, as per the police officials, took place at 1:10 am on February 1, 2023 in the Vaughan Mills mall in Vaughan, near Toronto.

According to a statement from York Regional Police, the suspects drove a black Audi sedan into a mall, entered an electronics store and stole several items. The vehicle then exited the mall via a different exit. However, there was no news of any injuries so far.

Surveillance cameras captured the vehicle driving through the interior of the mall, past closed storefronts, kiosks and vending machines. Around five minutes later, the cameras recorded the car crashing through another entrance by driving through its glass doors.

York Regional Police stated that the vehicle involved in the incident, with license plate X10 SNP from Quebec, has been recovered and it is believed that two people were involved. The police are seeking witnesses, who were in the area during the incident.

Taylor-Anna Kobinger from Laval, Quebec has come forward to claim that the car, seen in the video, belongs to her. Moreover, she added that she had listed the car for sale on Facebook marketplace in January with the aim of raising funds for down payment on a house.

However, things changed when a man took the car for a test drive with her and began to drive ruthlessly. When she got out of the car to change places, he drove off with the vehicle, as per the media reports.
