Promising Everton defender Kenzie Weir has joined Championship side Lewes on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old signed her first professional contract in August after making her senior debut in the FA Cup in January 2022.
Weir, who is the daughter of former Everton and Scotland defender David, is highly rated by the staff at the Toffees.
The youngster made her debut for Scotland’s U19 side in 2021 and has continued to progress but is now hoping a short-term move to the Championship will bring more game time.
‘I’m really happy, it’s been quite quick but I’m really looking forward to it,’ Weir said on the loan move.
