Shah Rukh Khan hosts #AskSRK for fans, reacts to ‘Pathaan’s roaring box office success – Times of India

Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback to the big screen is indeed a grand celebration for Bollywood as ‘Pathaan’, as per reports, has already minted a gigantic Rs 313 crore in worldwide gross earnings in three days. The Siddharth Anand-directed spy thriller marked SRK’s comeback in a lead role after five long years. He was last seen in a lead role in ‘Zero’ in 2018, which failed at the box office.
And now, after such an overwhelming response to his latest film, Shah Rukh Khan feels eclectic and super happy. Recently, while answering to questions during an Ask SRK session on Twitter, he admitted the film’s success and the huge box office numbers are indeed fascinating.

One fan had asked him about his feelings after Pathaan’s roaring success at the box office. “Sir @iamsrk #PathaanMovie ke collection ko dekh kr kaisa Mehsoos Ho Raha Aapko? #AskSRK,” asked the fan. In response, the Bollywood superstar made it clear he doesn’t count numbers, he counts happiness. “Bhai numbers phone ke hote hain…hum toh khushi ginte hain…#Pathaan,” responded Shah Rukh, leaving fans in awe.

Earlier on, reflecting on the film’s overwhelming reception among fans, ‘Pathaan’s director Siddharth had said that his film has scripted history in every sense. He also said that he’s now hungrier than before to create more spectacles and immersive experiences like ‘Pathaan’.

The action entertainer features Shah Rukh alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. ‘Pathaan’ also has a special cameo from Salman Khan, which made the action flick more interesting.
