8 Things to Watch This Thanksgiving Weekend
In the mood for an oldie but a goodie? Tune in to PBS this weekend for The Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra Family Christmas Show, the entertainers’ 1967 special. Running 90 minutes, the program features Dean and Frank in jovial good form, performing yuletide classics (“I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”) and generally fêting the holiday season alongside Nancy Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and other loved ones.

A Castle for Christmas
Technically, the Christmas season starts the day after Thanksgiving, which makes this Netflix rom-com—featuring Brooke Shields as a best-selling author recovering from a recent flop who hightails it to Scotland and falls hard for a castle owned by a cranky duke (Cary Elwes)—seasonally appropriate fare for cozying up while you wait out your tryptophan hangover.

Lady Buds
The cannabis industry is changing faster than anyone could have predicted, and this documentary from director Chris J. Russo is a testament to that fact. In Lady Buds, six very different women—farmers, activists, business owners, former Catholic school principals, and more—enter the newly legal weed market, and there’s plenty of riveting drama to be had (as well as a trenchant look at what could become one of the U.S.’s biggest industries).

Licorice Pizza
The wait is over! Licorice Pizza, Paul Thomas Anderson’s much-anticipated latest, is finally in theaters this weekend, led by Cooper Hoffman and Alana Haim as a teen and local 20-something in 1970s California. Among the supporting players are John C. Reilly, Sean Penn, Benny Safdie, Maya Rudolph, and Bradley Cooper, playing the Hollywood hairdresser turned producer Jon Peters.
