67th Parle Filmfare Awards South 2022: Allu Aravind conferred with Lifetime Achievement award – Times of India
Allu Aravind, who founded the Geetha Arts banner, has made many excellent films and is recognized as a star producer in the industry. Aravind has made short guest appearances in some Telugu films and has been an integral part of the film industry since 1974. Throughout his career, Allu Aravind produced many hit movies like Pasivadi Pranam, Master, Magadheera, Sarrainodu and Geetha Govindham, to name a few. He made his foray into Bollywood with multiple movies like Pratibandh, The Gentleman, Kunwara, Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai, Ghajini and most recently Jersey. He also bankrolled some Tamil and Kannada films like Mappillai, Darling, Mangalyam Tantunanena and Sundaranga Jaana
He has received a plethora of awards for his contribution to cinema. It includes two Nandi Awards two Filmfare Awards, and several other prestigious awards.
For the unversed, Aravind is the father of Icon star Allu Arjun, who is curling the industry as a versatile actor, carrying on the legacy of his grandfather. Allu Arjun has earned a very good reputation as a hero not only in the southern film industry but also at the pan-India level. Following in the footsteps of his father, Allu Venkat is busy producing many films under Geetha Arts banner as a producer.
