25-year-old man rides 31 feet tall unicycle, sets new Guinness World Record
Williams has built this cycle himself, according to a news release by Guinness World Records.
However, this achievement is even more remarkable considering that Williams had a near-fatal accident while performing in the semi-finals of Spain’s Got Talent in 2021. During the show, his unicycle malfunctioned and he fell 27 feet to the floor, leaving him “nearly paralyzed.” Williams underwent five surgeries and received 83 stitches from the accident. But, he did not let the incident defeat him. He returned to the stage and decided to attempt an even bigger unicycle stunt.
On December 29, Williams successfully rode the tallest ever unicycle at the Weltweihnachts Circus in Stuttgart, Germany, meeting the record-keeping organisation’s requirement of a minimum distance of 27 feet, 10 inches.
