25-year-old man rides 31 feet tall unicycle, sets new Guinness World Record

Florida’s Wesley Williams, also known as “The One Wheel Wonder,” has broken the Guinness World Record for riding the tallest unicycle. At 25, Williams rode a unicycle measuring 9.71 metres, or 31 feet and 10 inches, which is one metre taller than the previous record.

Williams has built this cycle himself, according to a news release by Guinness World Records.

However, this achievement is even more remarkable considering that Williams had a near-fatal accident while performing in the semi-finals of Spain’s Got Talent in 2021. During the show, his unicycle malfunctioned and he fell 27 feet to the floor, leaving him “nearly paralyzed.” Williams underwent five surgeries and received 83 stitches from the accident. But, he did not let the incident defeat him. He returned to the stage and decided to attempt an even bigger unicycle stunt.
