10 WR sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 11
Let’s break down 10 wide receiver sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 11.
Week 11 of the NFL season will mark the bye week for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As a result, many impactful fantasy football wide receivers, including Christian Kirk, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin, will be unavailable.
If you are looking for a sleeper, here are ten options. Every player listed is widely available in ESPN leagues.
10. Fantasy football wide receiver sleepers for Week 11: Jalen Virgil, Denver Broncos
Rostered: 0.1%
The undrafted rookie made his regular season debut last week, and his first NFL catch was a 66-yard touchdown reception.
Virgil has all the tools to be an explosive offensive weapon. He ran a 4.37-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day, and he can sumo deadlift 600 pounds!
In the preseason, Virgil showed promise as a deep threat.
Both Jerry Jeudy and Kendall Hinton are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Neither player participated in Thursday’s practice. In addition, KJ Hamler has been ruled out.
If Jeudy and/or Hinton do not play, Virgil is worth a flier in deeper leagues.
9. Fantasy football wide receiver sleepers for Week 11: DeAndre Carter, Los Angeles Chargers
Rostered: 7.4%
This one is dependent. Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Carter are all listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Allen and Williams have both missed extended time, while Carter played last week recording four receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. Carter was a limited participant during Thursday’s practice.
If Carter is active and Allen and Williams are ruled out, he would have streaming appeal this week, as the number two wide receiver in the Chargers’ offense.
