Her perfect summer table: “I like sunburnt summer suppers with a casual atmosphere and too many glasses of rosé, filled with ice cubes.”
Go-to table styling trick: “I like to mix all of the beautiful colors together creating a cacophony of wild prints—on the tent, table, napkins, chair cushions, and little goodie bags (which can also be baddie bags) for party tricks.”
Favorite summer meal to serve: “Here’s my go-to—Southern fried chicken (Popeye’s is the best. Round Swamp, if you must), tomato pie, cornbread muffins and the most delicious green salad from Via Carota. Google the recipe. Dessert is a Carvel cake, chocolate sauce and fresh berries.”
Handy hosting advice: “The host must be calm, cool and collected. A gracious host kicks off shoes, makes thoughtful introductions and offers cocktails and compliments with equal enthusiasm. If nervous, put on an Academy Award winning performance.”
Where she’s entertaining: “Take it outside. It’s summer.”

Her perfect summer table, explained: “I love mixing and matching pieces you love, while keeping it casual. Our philosophy at Feste is not being afraid to use nice pieces for every day. For outdoor entertaining, I suggest pulling things you would usually use inside, outside. Picture a formal punch bowl or in this case, a champagne bucket on an outdoor dining table. My keys are: lots of friends, lots of food, easy set up and easy clean up.”
